Newcastle Air Charter

Newcastle Airport is owned by the Royal Australian Air Force. Newcastle is the main air base for the RAAF's Fighter squadrons, and home of the F-35. All Charter flights require RAAF Permission to operate in or out of WIlliamtown. This is rarely a problem but please be aware there may be a small additional cost for the convenience of using Newcastle Airport. Passengers boarding charter flights at Newcastle must proceed through passenger screening with all the passengers for scheduled airlines.

If your charter is not urgent or you are in western Newcastle, our Charter clients often use Maitland airport instead where the parking is free and the costs are lower.
